Brooklyn College is proud of its long tradition of partnership with the Brooklyn community by encouraging access to the performing arts facilities. The Claire Tow Theater in Whitman Hall is the ideal gathering and performance space for every from small civic, cultural and community groups for their events to Broadway-sized fully-staged professional productions, and all at very competitive rates.
The theater's spacious Mezzanine Lounge is also available for rental for business meetings, confrences and private parties.
Over the years, Brooklyn College has hosted a variety of community events, from neighborhood dance school recitals to the NYC Police Academy graduations to town hall meetings and church gospel performances, as well as the graduation ceremonies of a majority of our Brooklyn high schools,
Our rental rates are contingent upon the type of show or event you are planning, but whatever the event, our full staff of highly skilled theatre professionals will help you manage all aspects of production for your event, from the first rough design sketches to the curtain-cue on your opening night.
