In support of the Brooklyn College, CUNY and NY City-wide initiatives to stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus, all scheduled events of The School of Visual, Media and Performing Arts' departments -- Conservatory of Music, Theatre, Preparatory Center, FiIm and Art -- have been postponed until further notice.
For ticketed events, ticket holders will be contacted by the Brooklyn College Box Office. We hope we will be able to resume activities as soon as possible; specific information will be posted on this website as it become available.

Bess Wohl's "Small Mouth Sounds"
Mar 27-Apr 1
Ticket-holders will be contacted
by the Brooklyn College Box Office.
Small Mouth Sounds begins with a note from the playwright: “Everyone in this play is in some kind of agony.” Wohl describes the characters as attempting to learn to stay with their feelings, listen, and be patient. Tasked with a vow of silence at a week-long spiritual retreat, the characters seek to understand exactly how one speaks their mind when they can’t say a word?
Bess Wohl is an associate artist with The Civilians and Ars Nova’s Play Group. She has developed numerous projects for film and TV.
