As a young adult, Porto finds herself disillusioned with life, turning to her local bar for comfort and platonic companionship. But what happens when opportunities present themselves that make her question her set routine? Can Porto take risks when she know show the sausage is made? In Kate Benson’s hilarious and unmistakable voice, [PORTO] addresses modern ennui with feminist discourse and literal icons.
Benson graduated from the MFA Playwriting program at Brooklyn College in 2014.
