Kate Kremer's "Porch Play"
A World Premiere!
Candace, Anna, Ryan, and Bridget gather for a sexual workshop while Clare grapples with trauma following her rape. Five years later, the friends gather on the anniversary of Clare’s suicide for a reunion. Described as a “tragic sex farce dealing with issues of consent and violation," Porch Play is dark, funny, gut-wrenching, and fierce in its exploration of the ever-shifting intimacies among a group of friends as they struggle with loss, trauma, and the quiet devastations of being in love.
Kate Dakota Kremer is a 2018 graduate of the MFA playwriting program at Brooklyn College.
Directed by Lillian Meredith
