Sarah DeLappe's "The Wolves"
Sarah DeLappe describes The Wolves as a story about teenage girls “actively trying to figure out who they” are and doing so outside of the spaces girls typically occupy in pop culture. Welcome to the team stretch circle. Offering a portrait of female togetherness, The Wolves is fierce and fast. Words and conversations are hurled at the speed of a skillfully kicked ball; allegiances challenged, order ripped apart and put back together. In 2017 The Wolves received the Obie Award for Ensemble work and was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
DeLappe is a 2017 graduate of the MFA Playwriting program at Brooklyn College.
