The Brooklyn College Film Department’s highly anticipated 41st Brooklyn College Undergraduate Film Festival is happening on May 31st, 2023; it's free and everyone's invited!
For 41 years, the Film Department's Annual Film Festival has celebrated student cinematic accomplishments with the annual screenings of their thesis films. The 2023 Festival will be held in Brooklyn College’s state-of-the-art Don Buchwald Theatre. The Brooklyn College Film Festival showcases theoutstanding creative work of young-and-future filmmakers; itis the culmination of their rigorous undergraduate education in every aspect of the filmmaking process.
The showcase boasts a wide variety of short films to satisfy every palate -- from hilarious comedies to thought-provoking dramas to deeply moving and personal documentaries. Many of the thesis films go on to win honors and awards at national and international film festivals.
