The Faculty Recital Series

Jenny Cline and Carlos Cuestas formed their flute/guitar duo in 2012 and have rapidly developed an eclectic and engaging repertoire of music from three continents and seven centuries. They have performed together up and down the East Coast, at the 2015, 2016, and 2018 National Flute Association conventions in Washington, D. C.; San Diego, CA; and Orlando, FL; and, in July 2016, at the Museo Nacional de Colombia in Bogotá. Their first CD, Facets, was released in October 2016, and has been garnering airplay on classical radio stations in the U.S. and Canada.

Of their collaboration, Dave Saemann in Fanfare Magazine writes, Cline and Cuestas are a true duo, with a give and take plus a mutual musical supportiveness that typify the finest chamber music.
